    Powertube Unscrewing?

I have an X valve and the physical powertube(the whole silver unit) is coming unscrewed from the rest of the valve. I thought about using locktite, but didnt really want to. There is a big red oring in there, but i dont know if replacing that will do any good. Any help would be good.

I am wondering, why send it it right away? Is it a big deal? I just got a ReTro that does the same thing.

No there's nothing you can (well, should) do. If I'm not mistaken, it is possibly a safety concern. Powertubes don't just unscrew, send it in, this is the kind of thing I'm pretty sure they won't charge for.

Definately extra lube. I keep two bottles at all times. Can't leave home w/o your lubricant.

my buddy had teh same problem, it lead to a destroyed of a red rubbery oring in the power tube... DO NOT DISSASSEMBLE YOUR VALVE UNLESS A CERTIFIED GUY DOES IT(we had rob hoover do it for us with his farnkenstien contraption)...but yea you need to send it off right away because its very dangerous

My level 7 classic mag has done that since I bought it new back in oh, 93 or so. If I am not mistaken this is common with the X-valves as they can not weld the PT on because of the aluminum valve body. Give AGD a call and ask them about it, but I bet they will tell you to just tighten it up. It's not really a safty issue as it's not like the PT will come flying out of the gun or anything.
