    Need help quick...

I was wondering if anyone had any cool ideas on an easy/failsafe way to remove the trigger pin WITHOUT scratching up my frame.

    Thanks.

After writing a long response, I figured it was better to delete it all and ask this:

Why do you want to remove the trigger pin?

Removing the trigger pin is quite easy, but the question I have to make is WHY, unless you don't have a stock mag.

Sorry i didn't gave you a straight answer, you didn't say what type of mag you own, but trust me, and probably all the mags guru's around here, you 99.999%(if not 100%) of the time don't need to remove the trigger pin.

A punch, a big hammer, & smack it out from the right side. No scratches? Simple, be careful.

Definately extra lube. I keep two bottles at all times. Can't leave home w/o your lubricant.

I own 3 mags but the one I'm trying to remove the pin on is my E-Mag. I'm going to try for a little longer today and if I can't get it to budge anymore than I'm just going to send it off. It's pretty stuck as I've hit it pretty hard with a phillips screw driver and hammer and it didn't budge.

(I got a fireblade, of course I need to take the stock trigger and pin out.

Get a decent punch. I used many, many nails that were randomly lying around to get mine out. I learned my lesson.

If it is the same as on spder ESP frames, i found that the metal rod that connects the lid to most cheap hoppers works awesomly. The edges are usually rounded, so if you are careful, I cant imagine you would have any problem scratching up your frame. I set the frame on a vise, and one hard tap loosened the pins. This was after at least two bent allen wrenches, and a few different sized nails.

heh, I've used punches on my emag, and a funny sort of screwdriver bit thats just the right diameter on mine and my friend's spyders(the same thing). I never used nails or alan wrenches or any of those things. I do have to say that you need to give it a solid whack to get it out though...
