    Tank Regulator Trouble

Hey I have an old 'Max Attack' series II adjustable HPA regular which has a small leak. The leak is coming out the 'out' hole which is the one that runs to the gun. After I degass the reg, the line going to the gun is still slightly pressurized because of this leak. I can take the reg apart only so far, and I have cleaned it, but im not going to oil it because I have heard you arent supposed to oil any tank regulators, especially fill nipples (because of a potential explosion, so ive heard). If anyone has any advice at all on what to do, id be most appreciated. The reg is so old I am scared to use it, but it is adjustable which is a rare luxury in paintball. Thanks for reading,

    -Josh

I'm not familiar with the Max Attack. I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer (Mac Dev?) to see if they can point you in the right direction.

You never know until you try. Also, from what I hear, it's highly unlikely they won't help you.

Definately extra lube. I keep two bottles at all times. Can't leave home w/o your lubricant.
