    *sigh* Fireblade install problems...

Alright I just got through popping in the new Fireblade and I turned on my E-Mag to get an idea of the trigger pull at stock settings and it didn't register a single pull in E Mode or Mech Mode. So I adjusted the pull length, and trigger magnet to both of their extremities, still no pull. I've turned on and off my E-Mag, I've tried pulling it from side to side to see if that helps trip the HES and still no luck. I've ran out of ideas and I"m wondering if anyone has any idea why my E-Mag won't register a single pull no matter how the trigger is setup.

Pop the magnet off the adjuster in the trigger (it's just magnatized there) and turn it around. See if that get's it.

Just tried that. Board doesn't boot at all with the magnet in the other way. It boots fine with it in normally but it just won't register a single pull no matter what I do for the trigger settings.

do you have the magnet as far forward as it'll go?

Yes, I've adjusted the magnet almost a mm inside the trigger. I was looking at my stock E-Mag trigger and the magnet is is atleast 1-2 threads outside of the trigger. It's very close to the HES.

BTW, I still plan on sending you my gun for the battery pack install and software update.

If you flipped the magnet and the gun won't boot at all, then that is the correct direction for the magnet (new flipped direction). Its just too close to the HES. Back the magnet out towards the front of the trigger more.

You can check the operation of the electronics by holding the magnet in your fingers and manually moving it towards the HES to get a feel for the actual operating distance.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

                Safety On ....

You said it wouldn't register in mech, or electro....If your other trigger worked fine before, try installing it again and see if that one works..BEcause then we know it is the triggers fault not the on/off or board etc...

1 flip the magnet like posted before.
2 Back the setscrew/magnet all the way back
                    3 turn emag on
4 If it works turn put it in trigger on/off , if you got 3.2,
5 If not flip magnet around and repeat steps 1-4
                    Let me know

Alright, I flipped the magnet around, backed the screw all the way out, still nothing. I noticed that my board would not boot at all so I switched the magnet around again. Still nothing. I opened up my grips and found that my screws mounting the boards in had came loose. My board was shorting out because the screws were loose. Tightened the screws, switched the magnet, adjusted the trigger magnet screw some more, and VOILA! I had the solenoid tripping again...5 minutes later my E-Mag was ripping away. I can tell a HUGE difference from the stock double finger trigger and the Fireblade.

Never mind the piece of crap battery housing, previous owner did a custom scratch job to it and decided the strip the screws as well. I'll be sending her off to Jay soon to get that fixed and the software updated. (maybe Firewire, I hope..)
