Am i doing something wrong?

Ok i cannot seem to turn the velocity adjuster. Is it supposed to be impossible to twist? I really dont want to break my gun since ive never needed to adjust my velocity in the 6 months ive had it. But today i got my parts kit in and was following BlackVCG's guide and everything was fine until i tried to take the velocity nut off. This gun is great except this one problem

What kind of velocity adjuster do you have?

What kind of valve do you have?

Does it have a tourney lock?

If so, did you take it off?

If you took the velocity ajuster out, did you make sure you put the spring pack in the right way?

how would i know if it has a tourney lock?

Ok, if it's an Xvalve then there is no tourney lock on it. Do you have it turned all the way in? Can you turn it to the left?

ah nvm i got it now. I just had to use more force. I was kinda scared that might break something.
