    Trigger still isn't that reactive...

I took my X-valved ULTed mag to the field today and played.

First of all it ran fine.

At first it was as reactive as I wanted it to be.

Here is what I am running:

    X-valve
    LvL 10 (Level 7 spring)
    ULT (5 shims)
    68/45 (800PSI output)

I took it to the chrony and it was shooting around 150FPS.

    I clocked it at 21BPS.

That's great but I needed to shoot 280FPS.

When I turned it up to 280, it worked but the trigger isn't reactive enough to get a rapid fire rate.

It is not my trigger finger. I let a few other people shoot my gun and they couldn't get it to shoot fast.

When the velocity was turned down it was doing fine.

Is there any way I get get a reactive trigger without buying an adjustable tank?

I have my ULT pretty light at 5 shims and that is not the problem...

I tested it using a full tank and, I also let others test it using a full tank.

I understand it is using most of the air to shoot the ball and does not have enough left to bounce the trigger.

    How do I fix this?

    Thanks in advance...

The ULT takes alot of the reactiveness out of the trigger. If you want more reactivity you can do two things. Replace the ULT with the stock On/Off and/or get an adjustable tank and run 1000+ into the gun.

Increase your input pressure. IMO you just need an adjustable tank with a mechanical automag.

Or slap in an RT on/off.

Definately extra lube. I keep two bottles at all times. Can't leave home w/o your lubricant.

Also you can play withthe number of shims in the ULT that can affect teh reactivity of the trigger as well.

You obviously don't know about how the valve works.

This is NOT the Tippmann RT.
