Does it say "Classic" on the valve or just ".68Automag"? If it says .68Automag ... my serial number is around CF32000 and I bought it new about 1995. That might give you an idea.
Don't get me started on the whole star valve thing. Alls I know is when I bought my 'Mag it came with a lifetime warranty *grumble grumble* There is info around here someplace on the change in policy though. -
Loneshark That would make your 'Mag a little bit older than mine, but not by much. I would guess around 1994. Back then all you saw was 'Mags and 'Cockers. Unless it's been changes it's a "Level 7" which just refers to the level of improvement over the original. What you hear around these boards as Level 10 is just the new anti chop bolt. About the only other upgrade I would reccomend is changing the on/off top. The old ones were restrictive and would cause problems when shooting fast. You can probably get one for free if you call AGD.
skousenjr You're pretty much already there (c:Comment

if your valve dosent have a star on it its before the star programe wich means that it was made before the year 1997 or whenever the start programe started
