    Air efficiency problem

Hi. Well, I got the problem getting the air to the mag fixed with a new ASA, but now I have a new problem. I shot about 500 rounds through my mag with a nitro tank that got filled today 68/3000 psi and the gauge was around zero after about 500 shots. My mag was just plooping them out of the barrel. It was humid, and when the guys at the paintball shop told me that the air I hear coming out of the gun when I unscrew the on off is it disengaging. Should I just screw the on off off until I stop hearing the air disengaging or should I just let the air come out and wait til it stops then screw it out all the way? I don't think there's a leak because I can't hear or feel anything. Thanks.

First off, when they filled the tank was it a full fill? If they flash filled it, you look at the guage when they hand it back to you, it says 3000psi, you walk away in in 5 mins you now only have 2500psi.
