    Emag bolt sticking

I tested my emag yesterday and when I fire, the bolt sticks when it returns about 1/4 inch away from the return position. I tried tightening the quick-strip screw but I didnt have an allen wrench and it didnt change anything. Does it need to be tightened more or is this a different problem?

If it has the level 10 bolt, then try adding a shim.

It is a level 10 and the spring is a greenish color. I never really understood the purpose of shims and spacers. Are'nt all emag valves made the same? Why would I need X amount of shims and a certain size spacer while the next man with the same valve needs different? This is the part that really loses me about mags.

Its all about getting you BOLT to fitt snuggly and slide nice with the right spacer/shims.The level 10 springs are red , silver and brassish in color.

What are you shotting at ?
Heres the level 10 thing I made up

                ~Springs~

Shortest spring 250 - 280fps (maybe a little higher but thats rare).

                Red Spring 270 -300fps

                gray 275 - 310fps

                ~Oil~

Put oil in 3 places... 2-3 drops in the macro fiiting or QD on the valve, 2-3 down the power tube, 1-2 on the on/off assembley

                ~Leaks~

If it leaks "down the Barrel" , then the carrier oring has gotten too worn, go down one size in the carrier.
                Or
There could be too many shims (rare), but does happen. Remove shims if carrier is nice and tight. You see the shims adjust when the bolt will start to vent.

                Different Spring

                Oil

Speaking of leaks, I have a small leak coming out of the velocity adjuster. Not the pin hole on the side. Do you know what that could be??

turn your gun down , its so high , the leak should stop.
