Can you use a Centerflag on/off in RT valve

I have a hyperframe and wondered if I could use Centerflags on/off in place of my RT on/off? I know it works in my classic valve, but are there any recharging issues with the Centerflag on/off in a Retro Valve. I just dont want to have to drill the retro for a ULT and I have the centerflag on/off already.

I dunno what the length of the CF pin is. But if it's the right length, it will work.

However, there is no reason (that I have ever heard of) to use a CF on/off when you already have an RT on/off. They both have tapered pins and basically do the same thing.

        Well...

the RT pin is too long (I assume). It wont fire with the hyperframe, but will with regular frame. And My E-valve works fine with the hyperframe. So, I assume it is the pin. I have 3 sets of centerflag on/off's so instead of trying to find a shorter pin, I wondered if one of them would work. I just didnt want to put one in and cause damage the the valve of some sort.

I see quite a variance in the CF on/off pins. I did change out at least 3 or 4 that did not work. Just get the real stuff and be done with it.

IF you plan on using a Hyperframe on any kind of mag go with the ULT. If its a classic RT then contact BRadAGD about drilling the valve to accept the ULT.

If its just a mech application, then go with what Tuna said.
