I have an emag that I just ordered parts for but I have 9 orings left over. I used a barrel o-ring for the velocity adjuster because it was the same size. I bought an rt parts kit, quad o-ring, rt reg seat o-ring(lx power tube tip), carrier o-ring, and back up washer to cover my lx o-rings and emag o-rings. Am I supposed to have left overs? Also, do any of these need to be "broken in" to achieve maximum performance? And last, in the exploded diagram at airgun of the emag, it shows an o-ring between my on/off assembly and my quad oring but there wasnt one there before. I tried to put one in but the on/off doesnt go in all the way. Is this right??
Extra o-rings??

There are extra o-rings in the kits. Some of the o-rings are more consumable than others. The level 10 carrier o-ring works better once it is broken in.
The larger on-off top oring is for use in the newer retro/emag valves and all the x-valves. The older emag valves had an indentation in the on-off cavity that the quad oring set into. The larger oring if put in this valve, would not allow the on-off assembly to go all the way into the cavity.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
