    Short stroking on a pneumag

I have just finished my pneumag and it is not behaving properly, I think it is shortstroking.
If you have any ideas/souloutions or if you think there may be a different reason for the symptoms please let me know.

    -Rapid fire sound
-Bolt gets stuck in the forward position occasionally
-Leaks down the barrel when fired
-the sear doesnt always return to it's proper position

    I haven't built one but....

Well if you are shortstroking, think of what happens when you shortstroke, the sear and on/off do not fully complete their motions. Based upon that fact, I would come to the conclusions that you're sear travel limiter is set too far forward so your sear doesnt fully release the bolt and shut off the on/off. Just a slight hunch but im not 100% on that. Good luck to ya

Thats my hunch too. Also, put your marker togethor without the valve.

Look inside and make sure the big part of the sear can retract ALL the way, and the small part that hit the on/off and come up as far as it needs to.

If your sear seems to be sticking up a litle too far, its hitting your actuator/ram.

You can mill a little bit off the top of the actuator, or do what I did..

I milled out the unneeded part on the intelliswitch hookup, and a little bit directly behind the trigger.

EDIT: Also are you sure your On/off is all set?

3pac - Let me clarify, I have very litle experiance with mags and Im not even sure if what I am observing seems related to shortstroking. If i knew for sure that it is shortstroking I would be able to solve the problem.

Alpha - what do you mean by "Also are you sure your On/off is all set"

        Thanks for the help
