Big RT Problem

I just got a RT in a trade.

What is wrong:
-leaking out the back of the reg
-no pressure on the sear/trigger
-bolt moves forward about a half an inch when aired up(When I push the bolt back the sear has pressure, but when I pull nothing happens.)

I cleaned every inch of the gun, but it hasn't helped.

Could this be a bad reg piston? Could the other problems be caused by the bad reg piston.

Does the RT have a lvl10?

Replacing the piston would be a good start.

Also, check the AGD websight for pics to make sure that everything is put together correctly.

What happens when you turn the velocity adj in more?

THE BEST thing you could do is spend a few bucks and get the gun rebuilt by a tech. This way you know nothing funky is going on.

It had on of those POS venturi bolts. I have that one and my lvl7 with the same results.
I was considering a tech, but I was afraid of the cost. I'm going to PM tuna about the problem and get some pricing.

The reg piston assembly sounds suspect. It could prevent the valve from reaching a high enough pressure to properly push the bolt.
