polishing ?'s

I want to polish my gun.

Does it give u a chrome appearance as i have seen?
Is it a one time thing or do i have to polish it often?
HOw do i polish it?
What materials should i use?
IS it worth it?
Also can the shine get easily smudged or damaged?

I like mine it looks shiney and chome looking. Go to the hardware store and buy some steel wool and some very fine grit sandpapers and some exteme polish. Its gonna take a few days of work to give it that total chrome look.If you dont polish it after you play it will get dirty and you have to do it over again.Its definately worth it, your looking to spend maybe 10$ on a great cosmetic job...
