    Micromag Resurection

i just put a level10 mod in my 10 year old micromag and hallelujah!!! What once was a paint shredder is now a kickass marker. I had almost given up on her, but now.... I'm just curious if anyone knows if the new intelliframes will fit the micro body (I want to go faster and my fingers have been spoiled by an electro)

Almost positive it will. Micro Mags used the benchmark trigger frame, if you bought a single trigger 45 frame from benchmark from back then it said micro mag on it. Still have that benchmark for my classic, feels great but the trigger sucks and is a real long pull.

It was the stock from Gun F/X(45 frame single tigger), but it has micromag on the left side of the trigger frame above the trigger. I agree on the pull though. A couple of things that I tried was lengthening the sear pin and putting a stop behind the trigger to reduce the pull after firing.

I have a micromag i put an autoresponse frame on. So i guess you can use any frame on a micromag that you can on a regular mag.

Thanks Adam, I thought you could but wasn't sure. Who makes the frame you put on and how do you like it?

Proline is the manufacturer but I dont think they make the frames anymore. I got mine on ebay. I like it alot, it shoots extremely fast, but if you play tournaments than I guess you wouldnt want one. It takes time to get used to the pull, its really weird. Other than that it works great.

Thanks again. I'll keep looking. I do play tourneys, but I have a different marker for that. This was my first marker I bought and I want to keep her on life support, the poor old girl.

I did the same thing, put some stops in to shorten the pull. Problem is look at the trigger itself. Its got a groove that makes the pull much smoother, but lengthens it a lot. Other triggers its flat where the trigger hits that rod.

And yes mine has all the markings Gun F/X, and micromag on the left side. If this is a project for fun try a spydermag conversion, I'm just about done with mine but used a dragun frame instead.

Thanks again, Asym. I'll keep an eye open for those two. The mag is just a backup, so I"m not planning on spending a ton more on it, Over the years between new air tanks, barrels , regs, and bolt mods etc, I already have over 1500 into the thing. New trigger frame is hte last of it.

hahaha, same here. and its still a classic valve. As for the spyder-mag conversion, its fairly cheap. Only really need to buy 2 things, frame and ULT the rest is time to make it work.

I had a inteliframe and bought a devilmag bolt on frame, friend wanted to buy my inteli so I sold it that was around Jan-Feb so now I only have that benchmark frame. So I'm sick of waiting on that d-mag so I made my own, also needed somethiing to keep my mind off the d-mag still not being here.

A inteli-frame is going to cost around $80-$120 depending on if its used or new. Spyder-mag frame $50-$110 and ULT around $40, but lots of time, if you don't replace the electronics your capped at 13bps which is still under what a classic valve will handle. If your looking for a project its fairly easy, if you don't have the time or don't have the tools to do it just get a used inteli.

thats because the proline frames dominate all.
