    RT Pro ?s

I'm thinking of buying an RT Pro and I have a couple of questions-

Is it possible to mount a red dot sight to the nifty sight rail it comes with? Is it a standard 3/8 inch rail or what? (and no, I don't need to hear about how red dot sights are no good)

Also, most pictures of mags I have seen show a front grip mounted directly to the rail, but the RT Pro comes with the front grip mounted on this shiny little mounting bracket.. can the grip be mounted directly to the rail or would it need some special modification?

The stock rails don't have a place to mount the vertical adapter. Rails from rogue and a couple others have slots to mount them in, or rails can be drilled to accept the screws. Defineately consider getting a marker from themagsmith.com and buying the sight rail after.

The Stock rail on an RT Pro will NOT accept any sort of aiming device that requires a standard dovetail style mount (3/8" or otherwise)

Reason being it's just a stamped piece of Stainles Steel and does not have a dove-tail on it. If your sight is like a DYE OEG then you could probably mount it to the rail since that sight doesn't actually need a dovetail to mount.

ANd as others have said, you'll need to either modify the stock rail for it to accept a VA directly attached to it without the mounting bracket or the purchase of another rail assembly.
