what barrel 4 RT LVL 10 + HOT PIC

Im running an Rt original with LVL 10 at about 650-700(psi) tuned to 290(fps). I currently own a very old Smart Parts All American, but it has a bore size much bigger than todays paint. These are the barrels I am considering, can you help me decide? Let me know about your personal experience OR LINK ANOTHER THREAD THAT ASKS A SIMILAR QUESTION. Do we have a search resource? With all these threads it would be nice.
    (1) Freak kit - this seems like the best choice because of all the options on paint you will have. I love Smart parts too. Is stainless steel worth the money or is aluminum good enough? All american or tear drop front?
    (2) All American - simple and they have always been good
    (3) J & J Ceramic - i really wanted this before my lvl 10 because of the teflon. But since i don't chop anymore it is less attractive.
    (3) J & J Edge System - a barrel kit from J & J, what could be nicer

Also what length do you like. 12" always worked for me but i may be missing out on accuracy. I just want to know which barrel will perform best with my RT. THANKS FOR YOUR ADVICE!!!!!!!!

    I think im in love

Well, if you're asking about a Twistlock barrel -

    1) Freak w/ SS Back and SS Inserts for durability since a Stainless Freak Back will be hard enough to find in A Twistlock but it'll last for the life of the gun where as the Aluminum could wear out. - Freak vs. AA tip is a matter of personal prefference, I like the AA tip but I think it's more asthetics than anything else. If your looking at getting difference barrel lengths stick with a 12" since this is a good utilitarian size, I like 14" barrels myself but again that's personal prefference. Length doesn't have a significant effect on accuracy though it will change the loudness/sound your Mag will make when shooting.

    2) All American - Again, if you're getting a Twistlock, just buy the Freak with a single insert and you can buy more inserts later.

3)Ceramic - Good barrels though I'd pick a CP One-Piece over a Ceramic as a personal prefference since the Ceramics tend to be a grab-bag as to what bore you actually end up with.

    4) Edge - Not a bad choice for a low cost kit, Definately worth looking at if you have a ULE body.

All in all if you have a Twistlock body, I'd buy something that was made of Stainless Steel since the Twistlock barrels are becoming rather rare.

If you have a ULE Body, then buy what ever you can afford, I'm a big fan of the CP One Piece and SP All American myself, just be aware that the AA will be a .689 bore if you have a ULE Body, otherwise the AA is still a .693 bore barrel.
