    E-mag trigger bounce.

I am having a problem with X-mag trigger bouncing. I am not entirely sure how to desribe how the trigger bounces; however, whenever I start walking the trigger at high rates of fire (around 15) the trigger has random moments of bouncing (like adding one or two extra shots). I was wondering what I should do in order to correct this.

    Here are my settings: SPS - 20; ACE - 0; SHBF - 4.

What is the point of shot buffering?

shot buff smooths out the shots , leave it at 4
I maybe wrong her but you might have to shorten you trigger rod. Are you using a preset tank? Tryshorting you trigger lenght.

Yes, you can try to shorten the legnth of the trigger rod a hair or two... thats a common occurance. What trigger are you using? Stock or something else?

How do you adjust the trigger rod length?

crank the shot buffer up to 50 and see if it goes away...make sure the trigger rod does not touch the back of the trigger when gassed up in Emode.

Thanks tuna, I'll check and see if that works. However, I think my rod is touching my trigger in e-mode, that might be the real root of this problem.

Anyways, I just purchased an x-mag, and I have fallen in love with the marker (after owning sereral high ends). So I would like to have these two questions answered:

              1. What is shot buffering, and what exactly does it do? What do the numbers signify, millisconds or what? And wat will adjusting it do exactly?

              2. How do you adjust your rod length? (this might be my problem)

              Thank you for you answeres.

Shot buffering is a system by which shots are placed in a queue to be fired if a trigger pull is read between firing cycles. If another shot is not detected when the next firing cylce occurs the shot(s) that are in the firing queue are then fired (Shots in the queue are generally cancled on the next trigger pull), what this does is it 1) helps achieve a smooth string of paint and 2) helps players reach a higher effective ROF if there is a BPS cap in place.

The trigger rod is threaded into the sear plate, a pair of soft jawed needle nose vice grips should let you grip the rod without marring it and simply screw it in a little bit.
