HELP! Probably an easy solution, but I am new to mags.

Ok, I own an Automag with a 68 Classic Valve. I shot it many times before and am now downstate.

I screwed in the CO2 Tank and it began to leak from somewhere on the valve or around it. I then screwed the velocity screw on the back counter clockwise and it stopped leaking.

When I would screw it in clockwise, it began leaking again. Also, if I held the trigger down, it would not leak either. I don't know if it is the Velocity because it doesn't shoot no matter what during all of this.

It is like the trigger pressurizes, but when I pull it, it pushes in and comes back out when I release, but doesn't fire.

Sometimes when I pulled the trigger the bolt move a little forward and then back like it was jammed.

I dunno what is happening. HELP!

Step 1: Put some soapy water on it and find out exactly where it's leaking from.

Do yourself a favor. Buy a 'mag rebuild parts kit from the AGD store, or one of the other sellers here on AO, and it will go a long way toward solving your air leaking ills.

then, your valve will be as good as new and you are likely not going to have to rebuild it for another 2 years or so.....maybe longer....

This problam has been solved. A piece in the on/off valve was backwards somehow.

          Thanks.
