hose for black dragun (spyder clone)

I am fixing up my black dragun to sell it to a friend and I was just wondering if I can use CO2 in a macroline? because if i can that would be easier then guessing how long of a steel hose to get for it. and if I must use steel hose then should I get like an inch more and just kinda twist it until the fitting is the right length or what?

yeah, me either. I was just checkin to see if anybody knew for sure. because I don't feel like orderin stuff then havin it not work. But I really don't see any reason why it wouldn't either.

i used co2 on macro for my mag, and the fittings blew. Evidently, co2 takes a toll on things that would usually grip with regulated nitro. Use it if you'd like, but expect to replace macro fittings regularly. Just go with ss hosing

I use it on co2 and so do several people I play with... other than some issues with co2 leaking a bit, easily fix when fiddled with, there have not been any problems.

ok. so since I am selling it to a noob, and I do not want to have to deal with regular fixings of it, how do I go about knowing how long of a SS to get.

take some fittings, be they 90* for the duckbill asa(I assume) and a 90* or straight for the front grip (unless its a really really oldschool dragun and doesnt have a front grip or gasthru, x chamber...etc. Then just see how long it would be to do a curve from one fitting to the other, noting that you'll want some leeway, and the hosing will be going into the fittings.

or you can just guess by taking a string, connect the two ends to the two airline holes, and give it some slack for a curve
