    ULT compatibility question?

What does the ULT being compatible but not recommended for certain 'Mags mean? Will it work with them? Reliably? Why is it not recommended?

(I have a 68Automag and a Minimag, and I want to add the ULT for some other major modification work I want to do, but not if its going to cause the guns to die.)

The ULT can't be guaranteed to work reliably on a classic valve.

This is because the reset force is reduced 2/3s with the ULT. The Xvalve will put 800psi onto the ULT. The classic only gets 450psi to the ULT. (That's how the valves work.)

Bascially, there's a VERY large chance of shortstroking on a classic. And no, you can't increase the pressure to the ULT in a classic.

      ULT and Classic valves!

I just tried ULT kits in 2 differant Mag valves and here are my results, I hope this might help you! One I installed in E-Mag valve that I made into a RT, I ended up with 7 shims and it rips like a mother almost as fast as most electric markers I that I have owned! (E-mag, viking, and a hypermag) I tried the second ULT in a classic valve and had as many shims as I could get in the on/off and it made the trigger alot softer but it did'nt real shoot any better or at least the the way I wanted it to so I went back to stock! They work great new r/t valves and real good in x-valves once you get them tuned to your liking! But they are alot like the LV 10 bolt kit you have to work with them to get them right , but when you do look out! they are a great upgrade!
