I actually used a fomie bolt in my old R/T to great success. I also had an adjustable tank, and by playing with the output pressure I was able to find that sweet spot. I had an incredable rate of fire, yet minimal ball breakage. Also, try different paint brands and different barrel bore sizes. If your barrels don't fit the paint, it will either squeeze the paint or the ball will bounce inside the barrel. Either will cause brakes. A good fit will be snug enough that it doesn't roll out the barrel, but tight enough that you have to blow out the ball with a puff of your breath. Hope I helped a little... -

Let me ask you a question. Did you alter your trigger rod in anyway? If you did, you need to put it back to the regular spot. At high rates of fire with a tampered trigger rod, you will chop like crazy. At high rates of fire with my RT, my gun will eat up Diablo and spit out eliminations. I don't chop much at all with mine when I hammer on the trigger. Someone tampered with mine, so I put it back, and it shoots great.
I love finding that sweet spot. It scares the hell out of anyone your aiming at.Comment

had to shorten
i had to shorten my trigger rod because i have a z-grip and the pivot point on the rod is shorter. i dont short-stroke it, my paint fits fine.....i just was a bolt thats a little easier on paint. i have a fairly fast hand and want a bolt thats not gonna hit the paint like a lead sled at high r.o.f. would my idea work?Comment
