    Faster loader = Less Chops???

Gas efficiency is giving me a real headache with my Mag when using LX Bolt. Not to mention that I have to crank up the velocity just have it run right. so I'm trying to find other solutions to reduce chopping and improve gas efficiency...

If I'm using an a fast loader like Halo or Reloader with L7 Bolt... would this reduce chopping?

the best thing for less chopping is a lvl 10..... im not sure a faster loader would help....... how fast are you really shooting?

I'm not shooting too fast... my best guess is much <9 bps (mainly due to the single trigger benchmark frame I'm using)... I've shot pretty well with my friends karnivor.

I have a bad habbit of short stroking and result to having to sit out 1 out of 3 games to clean out the breach. Then I purchased a LX bolt and the problem was gone. But had to pay with poor gas efficiency and the velocity knob turned all the way up to shoot at 285 fps. Another quarter turn and the mag starts to "hsss" in the back (meaning the velocity is turned up too high)

Planning to purchase the PTP Pnue Mag Frame which is suppose to eliminate short stroking which means i may be able to go back to the L7 bolt. But my concern is that if I have a better trigger frame, I'll have a higher rate of fire and bigger chance that the Rev 12V I'm using can't keep up resulting in chops if I'm using an L7 Bolt.... but if I go with LX Bolt i get poor gas efficiency and the velocity knob turned all the way up...

Currently I'm getting about 500~600 rounds with a LX Mag and a 68/4500 filled to about 3000 psi.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Just learn to stop short stroking it or keep the 10 and get a full 4500 fill.

Also, Whats the specs on your mag. You might need an updated reg piston.

If I'm not mistaken, the decrease in effeciency between the L7 and L10 was 7%. Your not going to get much more of an increase in shots with 7% if your only getting 600 shots off right now. If you shortstroke and have the L7 you WILL chop. If you don't shortstroke, have a Reloader B/Halo, and shoot under 10 BPS, you won't encounter chops very often.

For the hassle it's worth just don't shoot as much and keep the L10. Chops are the most aggravating thing while playing.

I just checked out the AutoMag Store.... I didn't know there was a new reg piston.

Currently I'm playing with a 2000 MicroMag with the stock Valve and LX Bolt.

The field I play at and the local shops only fills to 3000 PSI... so I'm stuck with 3000 PSI fills for now.

Short stroking.... I'm planning to have the PTP Pnue Mag Frame upgrade handle that.

Sorry, not interested in purchasing another marker right now. I only plan to upgrade my stock trigger frame with the PTP Pnue Mag Frame upgrade.

But for the heck of it.... how much are you planning to sell your MicroMag for? Any pics?

A true force feed system (Reloader B, Halo B, Q-loader, or Warp) will cut down on chops caused by the ball moving out of place during movement. In fact I think that was the original intent of the warp feed.

lube your reg? I was getting super bad velocity, turning it up all the way just to get it useable, but then I fixed it in 2 mins. degass, unscrew your velocity adjuster all the way out, drop a lota oil in, then screw it in a little less than you had it before. It fixed mine. I couldn't lube the gun through the airline easily becuase i have an adjustable and no quick disconnects, so I have to take it all apart to oil it. Big hassle.

Im currently shooting a Hyperframed Dallara Mag, with an Xvalve, and ULt for the Hyperframe's ease.
I removed my Lvl X kit, and put my lvl 7 back on.
I swap between a Stock HALOB, and an Empire Relaoder B.
                      NO chops.
