    Mag Related Q's

I am getting ready to strip my X Mag down for custom anno and I have a few questions.

    1) Is it necessary to remove the steel bushing that holds the valve out of the body prior to anno. If so, how do I get the steel bushing that holds the valve out of the body.

    2) Is it necessary to remove the magnets in the lowers and the trigger prior to anno. If so, how is this done.

    3) Where can I find a "fire blade" or similar trigger for an E / X mag lowers.

    4) Are there any diffrences between the E mag and X mag lowers.

Thanks for any help you guys can offer

This is an X Mag. The bushing looks like it is threaded in. As far as the magnets, they appear to be glued in.

I will take a closer look to see if there is a c-clip but it didn't look like one was in there. The magnets are another story though.

      Thanks for the information.

        c clip

the c clip i am talking about is inside the body.
if you look from the back where the valve would go there is a clip and a thin stainless steel washer so the bolt spring doesnt wear the body down ..

        here is the trigger magnet

i was thinking there all the same ..

your best bet would be to email tuna ..

        some good info here too
