    Intellifeed question.

Hello, I just got Intellifeed hooked up but I have one question regarding something I did wrong. I accidently cut the orange wire in the Revolution hopper. So what I did was I tied the two cut pieces of orange wire back together in a knot, then I tied the earphone extension cord wire to the knot I previusly tied and put some electrical tape around it. It still works fine but I was wondering if there are any future problems since I cut the orange wire. Again the Intellifeed works flawlessly, but is it okay to have the orange piece of wire cut and tied back together? Obviusly the electrical current still flows through it all, but was that bad or what? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S.-Would I just be able to solder the orange wire back together if something does go wrong, and would that make it like I never even cut it?

          Relax

Just solder it and tape it up. It will be fine.

Like I always say, "If its not broke, then don't fix it." right? So i'm just gonna leave it how it is, it works flawlessly like I have it. I got it taped good too so I don't think the knots will come undone. If I do start having problems, then I will solder it but untill then, I guess its fine.

I race radio control cars, and do a lot of wire soldering. i think you should solder it back together just so it wont come apart during play...it will be good as new,try not to use to much solder as this just causes unneeded resistance
