I wanted to try out mags so I traded for one... The person I traded with told me the valve was missing a few orings... after I finally figured out how to disasemble every part of the valve I find that there are no orings missing and none appear to be messed up. however, with my printed out blown up view of a retro valve, I found that some parts were missing and I thought maybe I just cant find how to get them out... they are the parts that should be somewhere when you unscrew the little brass fitting that is on the end of the valve that the bolt goes over, how do I get the piece and the orings out, I can find teh exact name of the parts if needed....
New mag user, I got semi scammed I need some tech help...

The valve that the bolt goes over is called the Power Tube. If you've got the cap (brass piece on the end) that's ok. Is there an o-ring on the cap near the threads that's good too.
Assuming this is a level 7, all you'll need is a Power Tube spacer and a Power Tube o-ring. If you do need an o-ring for the tip, this is it.
And lastly, you'll want to be sure you have a bumper. -
nope this is lvl 10... sry I did not specify... so once I do unscrew the brass end to the tube such parts should just fall out?Comment

No, they won't just fall out. Once you take off the gold cap with the oring on it, you should see anywhere between 1-5 small metal shims. Sometimes, you won't have any at all. Just fish those out with either a scribe, or magnet. Behind those you'll see another gold piece called a carrier. This piece should have a small black oring around it, & a small white teflon oring inside of it. According to the Level 10 directions, to get this out you can use your field-strip screw. Just thread it in carefully, then slowly pull out the carrier. They also say to be carefull as you can stretch out the small white teflon oring. If you end up stretching it, just put in a new one. Behind that is your last piece, which is a white plastic spacer. Its there to keep the telfon oring from falling into the valve. You can also just fish that out with a scribe. Hope this helps a little.Originally posted by MyChemicalRomancenope this is lvl 10... sry I did not specify... so once I do unscrew the brass end to the tube such parts should just fall out?Comment
