Ok AO, has anyone done the emag on/off switch mod? This is where you replace the function of the yellow pin (on/off of battery) with a switch (which has circuit, etc...)?

I know that KayleAGD provides the switches and he can also install them however, just looking to see if anyone has done it themselves yet?

Please post any useful info (DIY info, pics, etc...) as I tried multiple searches and came up empty! Just trying to see if I should try it on my own, or ship my grip frame to him and have it done for me thanks AO!

Yeah I did it with a switch from radio shack a long time ago but since then I have a eye droped into my emag which has a switch.

its not hard to do just make sure none of your wires or switch pronges ground out on the gun frame.

not to sound rude however, it was my impression that the e-mag handled to much current which is why the switch could be just any regular radio shack one, it needs a circuit, etc... LMK if your switch always worked fine, and never got blown out?

because that doesn't keep the battery from draining

Explore the Digikey cataloge. They have lots of options you can use.

Also, if you can get your hands on an spare or dead Viewloader Revy board, you can remove the toggle switch from there and use it.
