    microline,

it came on the marker, i havent had any problems assosiated with it, when i compared the ID of the two they were the same, only the OD of macroline is bigger

I prefer steel braided line, going from right side of the valve to the back, to the left side of the bottomline adapter. I'm right handed and I find this setup the most comfortable for me. Obviously, it doesn't work for the left handers.
The steel braided hoses have much higher operating pressure than microline or macroline, making them safer. You can use shrink wrap tubing to make them look more cool

Uhm. There's no input pressure you're going to use in your automag that would burst a macroline.

Unless you're Zak Vetter at least.

Microline however... not sure why that's even being brought up. That's for low pressure connections. Usually used in electropneumatic markers to connect the LPR to the solenoid and the solenoid to the ram. E.g., that's the little clear tubing on the pneumatics on a 'cocker.

That's true until you get crappy macroline. If you skimp and buy cheap macroline it might break like it did for me. It's kind of scary and can result in some decent whippage.

steel braided hose is nothing more than macroline witha steel braid around it, its got a burst pressure of 12000 psi and an operating pressure of 3000psi
