    RT Pro/ X-Valved Sweetpotters poll

This is to try and evaluate how many of us, and what tweaks where needed to do it, are using our mags with sweetspot with the standard ON/OFF valve. Ult trigger users are welcome to vote on the 4th option

What did you made to increase your valve's reactivity?

Nothing, my Stock MAG already was very bouncy

Had to rise my regulator pressure above 900 PSI

RT trigger doesn't seem terribly reactive even at 1000psi output -- that is, if I trust the gauge on my Max-Flo. The ULE trigger is much more usable in my opinion. Still, love the gun now that I got it working!

Thanks for your feedback, i made this poll because I live in Portugal and thus I don't have more than a few MAG owners(and my best friend just changed to a DM4 ) to compare with, and knowing the capable recharge rate of an RT/X valve, I figure that there is a lot of potential to unleash.

Furthermore, after visiting zakvetter pages, i was even more impressed, although i wont pack a Scuba tank on my back(34bps lol), i saw that 25 bps is feasable. I started my "quest" to reach that performance, and without the ULT trigger, my solution was to shorten the On/Off pin, but as each MAG is a different gun because of the minor tolerances that affect o-rings to steel parts friction, I would like to know how did each one of us managed to get that.

Note: I don't want to take into consideration the legality of this issue, i mean, a very bouncy mag being or not considered illegal in a tournament, here in .pt(Europe) it's not an issue in most of the tournaments, i've played together with my very best friend playing full-auto with his DM4 with the extra-pimped new mayatashi(or whatever) chip.

i voted other... i had an x valve with ult and a y grip... had 5 shims in the ult ... i even got it to sweet spot on a classic CF single frame... heres the sound of it shooting... on of the clips i had of it i had my buddy goldwave it and it hit 22 cps...

EDIT : both of these clips were done using a Preset Crossfire 88/4500 @ 850 psi ..

        RT bounce
        RT bounce 2 (fastest)

Running 1k into my x valve, I have had the chrono count me at 22bps. I for damn sure don't need anything that fast but it sure turned heads. In my area, mags are nothing but a cult following. So few people own them here that they are seldom recognized by sight.

Before I got ULT, I got an AGD Flatline and put it to about 950 psi and got a shorter on/off pin... It worked great.

Just one doubt: Did you got a shorter ULT on/off pin(~0.8mm minor diameter) or a shorter standard(1,75mm minor diameter) on/off? To add up, I'd appreciate if you could post the actual size of your working pin and wich one it is, an ULT or a standard, my ult working pin is .739", but I don't have it as reactible as the standard one with .740" size.

Sizes are mixed with diameters, i've been noticing that the size usually is better shown as parts of an inch, but the diameters have been showing best in millimeters, this is maybe mostly due to the constraint of the O-Rings sizes.
