I just got a classic rt online and it leaks like you would not believe. I relaced all the orings, put a shorter spacer in, tried a different bolt and even different nitro tank but the thing still leaks down the barrel. It is a level 7 blot. when I hold down the trigger it stops the leak, but as soon as i let go it leaks like crazy. I even tried installing a whole power tube kit from one of my classic gun and the level ten from another gun. the level ten seemed to help slow down the leak, but didn't stop it. what else can i do?

I have the same problem once i installed my LvlX. From what I can gather by digging through way too many threads is a bad reg piston.
I've posted for help as well... -
Whats happening is that your bolt for what ever reason isn't sealing inside the Power tube, thus allowing the air in teh dump chamber to simply vent down the barrel.
When you hold the Trigger down your engaging the On/Off and closing off the air going into the Dump chamber thus the leak stops.
If it leaks down the Barrel that's Typicaly a Power tube oring, but you say it has all new o-rings so other possiblities.
Some are going to sound obvius but just to list them all.
::main bolt spring
::Be Absolutely positive you have matching Bolt and power tube accesories, [carries, shims, orings, power tube tip, spring, bolt]
::There aren't any stow away shims or carriers down the power tube
::Power tube Tip is it there an unbroken?
::also could be your sear not hold the bolt back, even though it is engaging the On/Off
there might be some extra wear on the bolt side.
::You say you have a Classic RT make sure all of your valve, rail, sear, body is for the RT Classic not RT Pro some parts aren't interchangable between them. i forget which exactlyGuns

thats sounding like a sear issue in that it's not enageing the on/off pin and holding back the bolt in the right sequence, maybe, Remove the sear and check it for extensive wear from the bolt.Guns
