Do you have an LX in there? If so try swapping down to the next lower spring. I'm surprised you aren't venting out the back of the valve.

There's no way that the gun can shoot that hot, The internal regulator will vent if you go much over 300.

        Try a different chronograph.

i turned mine up to 365 just to see how high i could get it. it could go higher, but i didn't want to waste more time messing with it. it was hard to turn back down though for some reason. i eventually got it back down to 280, but it was frustrating. all i did was keep turning it down. for a long time, turning it down did nothing, then all of a sudden it started working.

Hey, hook your air source up, turn your reg nut counter-clockwise, shoot the gun, turn it counter-clockwise, shoot the gun, ect ect.... Do this untill you get your desired velocity. If it does not work, send it to me and I will fix it, all you do is pay shipping. I am now into doing mag work, just fixed 2 mags today and they shoot amazing Anyways, do that and see if it works.
