    Fastest Revy?

    ok so here's the dealio...
i'm kind of tired of my heavy halo and i still love my old revy for its toughness and reliability... but i shoot an alias.
i saw a revy on an ego the other day... fastest revy i've seen... the gun shot fast with it .He said that all he did was change the servo.
so...i talked to a guy about making one faster and he said:
    -Evo servo
    -9.6v? rechargable batts
-vortex impeller or evo impeller with blades bent upwards

i'm thinkin also a turborev if i can get my hands on one... anyone have any suggestions? especially on if/how i can bend the evo impeller blades??

any help would be much appreciated.

no experience doing this, but I have messed with plastics and such before.

to bend the blades, heat the propeller up (preferrably via the oven at a lower heat so as not to melt the thing)

Then find somethine round (like a baseball or something - not sure of the right size) to place the propeller on and then bend the arms down over it - use masking tape or something to hold the position.

Once it cools, you have bent arms. More bend - heat again. Less bend - heat again. That part is pretty easy.

Yeah Turbo Revis are great if you can find one. I prefer mine over my Halo any day.

Why not just get an eggy? Pretty much same weight/size as a revvy, and a much better design.

It's much bigger than a Revi. The Revi is so much lighter, plus more durable. I also can't stand the way the lid opens towards you. I have one with a Z-Board and never use it, I keep it as backup. My Turbo Revi will feed just as fast as the Z-Board too.

how fast do you need to shoot?

i got my revvy with x-board to do a 16 bps burst. if that means anything.

I *think* I understood the question.

I have my Halo B with the victory board, i've started using it at 25Bps, and had to go to the extreme (35Bps) configuration, and even so sometimes I have LVL10 kicking in (bolt resetting), mostly because of the movement and probably my excess strength applied to keep it levelled, makes me loose the "flow" of the gun, making the balls stop feeding fast enough.

My 2 cents are: I feel, (and this is one thing I still have to practice with) that the key is to soften the bounce, making our arm work as a suspension, what we want here is to avoid sudden changes of movement in a middle of a string, to keep balls inside the Loader from "jumping", thus making feeding at that rate impossible. After this any loader capable of matching our sustainable fire ratio is pretty much OK. After all of this, you always have the Q-loader :)

Not really. It just looks like it. The revvyi is longer and thinner, the eggy is shorter and wider. They're close to the same height. At least, that's what I see looking at the two right in front of me.

Or you could go down to a hobby shop, look at the RC car motros, and switch it for the hopper motor, vola!! Instant speed booster.

Now eventualy, won't you be able to spin the impeller so fast that you actualy be pushing the balls out from over the feed hole?
