    Mag inconsistancy

Hey i got a mini-mag witha stock mini-mag valve/bolt assembly on it about 10-12 years old. My mag bounces around with its volsity by like 30 sometimes. i was wondering scince my valve is so dang old is there a way i can kindda Re-Build it. ya know like a car engine. maybe take apart entire valve/bolt/powertube assembly clean the entire thing ( accept for the O-Rings ) in varsol or somthing rinse it all out and then re-install o-rings or put in brand new o-rings and then grease up inside valve and oil rest of bolt assembly. do people ususally do that or just leave it alone?

if its that old, its time to get ahold of a parts kit and replace all the o-rings.

since you would be removing all the old ones, you might as well clean out the valve and reg while your at it. i think flushing rubbing alcohol through it would clean all the grime out, not sure though. just dont forget how everything went in in the first place.

the velocity jumping is a sign that you either need to oil it, or replace the reg seat.
