    E-Mag sticky trigger

I have two e-mags, one that is really old and the electornics are shot.

I came across a good deal from a person online which did not like the weight and just the overall e-mag. The gun is only a few months old and has no bleemishes. but I figured out why he does not like the gun because my gun with no electonics fires better.

After taking many different approaches at what the problem could be, I think I may have discovered it, but would like some feedback.

When the gun is fully assembled the trigger does not reach up and hit the on/off pin to fire the gun. When I pull the trigger, the back side of the sear assemble does not hit the hole in the center. It seems to hit the body of my gun and only half the hole, and not my pin to fire the gun. So when I start to rapid fire the pin doesn't get fully pushed and the X-value acts up becuase it doesn't get a full pull. The gun works fine if I take off the grips and apply a little back force to the solenoid which causes the sear assemble to hit the pin in the correct spot, which creates a full pull.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do? becuase I'm about to call airgundesign because it almost seems something was milled wrong.

I have a few options but I would like both guns to work properly becuase I play a fair amount of rec. ball and I like letting younger players use my none electric e-mag becuase it's a lot better than most rentals.

    1. I can remove the good guts from the wokring e-mag and put it into the bad one.
    2. Simply just replace the solenoid from the bad to working, (maybe flaw in solenoid)
    3. Call and wait for airgundesign to give me some feedback
    4. Milled a wedge that forces my solenoid back, which places the sear assemble into the correct position. "could cause problems down the line"

Two E-Mags and only 1 fires

Compare the parts from both emags until you find the part that is different.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

I fixed the problem, but it boggles my mind how it worked. All I did was change the solenoid between the guns and they both line up perfect. I know the electronics are shot on one but that's fine becuase it still rips 12bps.

Are you sure the old noid isn't bent? I would make sure of that, something was/is probably bent somewhere.
I knew not what I did but am now edumacated
