body/ barrel question

I'm looking to upgrade from a twist lock body to a ULE of some sort. I already own both a CCM barrel kit (similar to a StIffi Switch kit) and a Hammerhead, both of which utilize the small sizers at the back end. My question is as follows:

will the backs be completely enclosed within a regular ULE and/ or Tac-One body? Is an Exile cut back to the threads? Would I run the risk of having a sizer get stuck inside one of these bodies if the front unscrewed from it?

No. A little over an inch (maybe two) of the barrel will be inside the body (depending on which body you use). You won't lose it in there.

The CCM sizers can easily get stuck inside the Tac-One body. I made a tool to remove them. I'll send you a photo if the thread is gone, search "CCM sizer tool".

So the sizers fit most of the way inside the body?

The CCM sizers fit ALL the way in the Tac-One body, you won't get them out without twisting all the muscles off your finger. PM me your email and I'll send you some photos.
