    Common problem?

Hey guys, I just got my RT pro not too long ago. I have a Zgrip, Level 10, ULT, etc. I'm using a high input tank.

basically, whenever I try rapid fire eventually the trigger, sear, or something seems to get stuck to the rear. I then have to degass and gass up the marker in order to fire again. Most of the time, the gun fires a shot when I'm re-gassing it, almost like it's completing the previous trigger pull. If I rake it, It happens less often, but it really likes to do this when I try to walk. Any ideas?

I had a similar problem sometime ago because my trigger rod from the sear was to long. I screwed it in just a bit and it was fine.

But what I do I do because I like to do.

you might have to tighten the FS screw down a little with an allen wrench.. i used to get that with my mech mag also.. and rember to NOT overtighten the FS screw.. give it like a 1/4 turn if that with the allen wrench.. just enough to snug it a little more than hand tight...

and from what everyone says.. your Not sposed to adjust the trigger rod At All inless you have a calipers to measure it to correct legnth....

Its most likely a ULT issue, but could also be affected by the level 10 bolt as well. If the ULT allows air too quickly, it will prevent the bolt from fully resetting. If the level 10 carrier is too tight it could cause slight bolt stick. Remove a shim or two from your ULT. Check your level 10 carrier size and adjust if it needs to be changed. Once that is done, check to see if the powertube needs a shim or two to allow the bolt to reset if it sticks due to ULT leakage.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

sounds like bolt stick to me. but to be sure we need more information. You running LX or ULT?

Next time it happens put your finger down into the breech and feel what the position of the bolt is, or if your afraid of level 7 use a battle swab. If the bolt is stuck forward then it is definatly a bolt stick issue and can be taken care of easily (run a search for bolt stick its covered like a thousand times in this forum).
Tom was the last of a now extinct breed, a breed of players who build a community, a breed of owners who gave to the sport never taking more than what they deserved. I hope to see you at the feild again some day....
