On my mag, the ASA is connected to the gas-thru with macroline. The gas-thru is connected to the valve using microline. Microline used to be the standard in paintball...but now it seems like nobody uses microline anymore. Any thoughts? Is the microline rated differently or is there a possibility it could choke off the pressure to my valve?
I actually think it may increase the pressure as I believe (and I'm recalling 10 year old Physics here) that as the diameter of the piping decreases, the velocity of the material moving through the piping increases. That may be completely wrong...it may apply only to liquid...I really don't know...it's like one of about 4 things I recall from Physics class.
I probably will have to replace the microline with macroline eventually anyways because one of these times when I replace the microline...I won't be able to find any.
