    New Mag, tuning issues...

Recently I bought a Paradigm Pro Mag setup from themagsmith, with the ULT and Lvl 10 supposaly pre-tuned. Upon receiving it I put less than 100 shots through it with the 1000psi I had left in my tank, which has been out of hydro. It seemed to work great and fine then. But taking it out on the feild the first time was a disaster... Shot probaly 10 or so shots to chrono and such, but off the break I fire under a dozen shots and the trigger will not "reactivate", the rod was stuck back. I noticed it was the bolt getting stuck and to unstick it I had to put my finger in the chamber and click it back. It kept sticking after about every 20 shots or so. Oil did help but didnt solve it. On the feild I didnt know anything about my lvl 10 at the time. I added a shim to the ULT, and it did help, but I still got bolt stick! It was very frusterating, I resorted to putting my classic valve in my brand new ULE mag...

When I got back home I read up a little on the lvl 10 through my mini-disk included. I concluded that it was perhaps a too-tight carrier. So I put in the next size up where the bolt slid nicly onto it. I didnt have a tank so there was no way to tell. So at the feild, I put on my rental tank, and it leaks down the barrel. I tryed just putting in my lvl 7 bolt from my MiniMag but couldnt get that to work either, so classic valve again...

Im not really sure what to do now, I finaly bought a tank which is in the mail and should be here tomorrow. Im playing thursday too. I know both the ULT and lvl 10 are no where near tuned now since I messed around with them so much. I beleive I have the perfect carrier though, but I cant tell untill tomorrow. Also, my shims arnt organized, there may be lvl 10 shims in the ULT and vise-versa.

What can I do from here?

ANY help is greatly, greatly appreciated, particularly prompt help!

Specs on my gun- X-Valve with ULT and lvl 10, ULE body, Intelli, RPG Thrasher rail, bike grip, CP 12in, Redz uni, Halo B, 68/4500 in mail, if any of that matters...

Ok, I finaly got my tank in. Put the extra shim in the powertube and there seems to be no bolt-stick.

But now I think Im having troubles with the ULT.

With only a few shims in it Ill be able to hold down the trigger and shoot full auto, its neat but not what I want. With the minimum and maximum shim amount in the ULT I get the same effect. So I tried removing the shim from the powertube. The full auto just seems faster now... I dont know what to do next.

Ok yesterday on the feild I worked on it for about a half hour. It kept shooting full auto, I could hold down the trigger and it would just go. Tried everything I could. Finaly I decided to tinker with the velocity. I backed out the velocity nut quite a few full turns untill it shot normal! The bolt was sticking a little, but a few extra shims fixed that. From there it performed amazingly, I could walk a steady 11bps over the chrono and Im still getting used to it. Its truely amazing.

But later in the day (about 1200 shots) reactivity started to linger and I found myself short-stroking a lot and just a delayed return. It may be my velocity since I lowered it a little because I did notice lower velocity made it less reactive. So Its pretty much all situated now! I could use another shim but I misplaced it.

And I did add an extra lvl 10 shim, but later downgraded it to a ULT half-shim which worked better. Thank you for all of your advice. If any other problems arise ill be sure to e-mail/call you Rouge.
