Top button stuck "in" *emag crew help*

Today I turned my xmag on and instead of showing "AGD 3.2" like normal, it showed the TS count, then it appeared to turn off. The battery is fully charged so its not a dead battery. I opened up the grip frame and noticed that the top button appears to be stuck "in". I can put the smallest allen wrench i have in there and gentrly push it back out, but if I push the button in after its turned on, it stays in. There also appears to be some small piece of what looks aluminum foil between the board buttons and the gripframe. Is this even supposed to be there? Any help is appreciated. i want to go play tomorrow if I can get this fixed.
    Thanks!

There should be NOTHING between the board buttons(white) and the extender buttons in the gripframe(black plastic). The gun may have been taken apart and someone put tape or the like to stop the extender buttons from falling out. Remove anything in between. I have seen the extender buttons get stuck due to paint buildup. Just take them out and clean them and the holes they go in. Be careful not to snap off the white board buttons when reinstalling the board.

How do I go about removing the board? I plan to remove it to install the predator board whenever it gets here so knowing how to remove it before hand will be a help. I cant seem to find any directions/instructions on how to remove the board itself.
      Thx

remove the noid by unscreing the screw on the other side of the frameand unscrew that bottom board screw then pull both right out(dont forget to disconnect everything) but caution, make sure when re inserting the board the buttons seat properly. cause if the black push rods stick out too much when putting the board back in they will break off the white buttons thats probly what happened to yours they taped the black rods forward so they wouldnt break the buttons

I got the board out, took the scotch tape off that was covering the buttons. Put the board back in, then the whitebuttons on the board broke.
Looks like i'll be in mechanical mode until my predator board gets here. Hopefully this won't happen with that board too.

Why'd AGD have to make it such a tight fit. ARghhh. The buttons arent "broke" off, they just bend up 90degrees when i put the baord it, i'm nto sure if theyd' still work if I could ever get the board in there w/out them bending.

when you leave the black extender buttons sticking out into the gripframe you will bust those switches off everytime. There is plenty of room. Now push those white buttons back in straight and try again.

Their not stuck out , they are as flush w/ the gripframe as I can get them. Can they be put in from the outside? If so then i can put the board in first then sldie the buttons in their holes.

No. the black buttons must go in the gripframe then angle the board in. Dont forget to orient the pin in the gripframe to the hole in the board...not the screw hole.

Yes, try holding the frame at an angle so the buttons slide outwards

then angle the board in, white buttons first, let the other side down

Thats what i do, and it works everytime.

If the buttons arent totally broken off are they stil good? I can push them straight again and they seem to pushin/out normal.

Yes, just carefully bend them straight again.

As long as the connections arent severed, they should work.
