new automag owner

hey all,
i just picked up an old automag and i know very little to nothing at all as what i can do with it as far as upgrades and what is good and bad. From what i am told it is over 10 years old with a smart remote on it other than that i was hopeing to get some input as what i can do with it (bolts, valves, and barrels).
