X-Mag ACE - Anyone ever get it to work?

Having had my X for a while, I finally got around to trying to get the ACE working. Tryed both 1/2, messed with sensitivty screw, checked all the wiring, and cleaned the eye; all to no avail. Yes I know I have LVL 10-- Don't even start. I want both, period.

Any help would be much appreciated.

IT is possible that the board is bad. Ive had my xmag for about 3 years and the ACE works flawlessly, even with dark paint.

There is a quick way to see if the sensor is on. If you have a digital camera, put the ace on, and look down the breech with the camera. You should be able to see the IR light emmitting from the ACE through the camera screen, or at least if you take a pic.

    LMK how you make out.

I just got mine, and it seem to work just fine, It wont shoot when nothing is in the breech, but shoots with paint in it.

hmmm the ace board may be dead. I would give AGD a call and see what they have to say. I am not sure if they still have replacement boards, so you may be SOL. (But rumor has it that they still have some on reserve for repairs)

If you plan on getting the new emag board... I have come up with a simple replacement option for the ace board that could be used to replace a dead one. Its something ive had on the back burner, but Ive been meaning to get moving on it. The only problem is that it would only work with the Predator board, not the stock one, since they use the frame as a ground it would be tough for me to get that to work properly.
