Lubricant Question or Dead Horse Being Beaten

What up! I'm new to the forums, had a slight lapse in my PB play time for reason that I'm still trying to drink myself away from. Being a simple caveman I'm frightened and confused by all of these new gadgets. It'll be fun to show up with a 10+ year old 'mag and show why it is, was and will forever be great. That's my schpeal, now to my quesiton.

It's a dead horse but I need to beat it because I can't find anything about this lubricant through the forum search. Has anyone used, heard of or had premonitions regarding "Battle Lube"? Comes in a small squeze tube and has almost a grease type consistancy. Before I put this stuff in my marker I wanted to make sure it's not going to harm my precious.

Thanks for any and all help. My appologies if this topic deserves it's own place in paintball history. Thanks!

Dont use it in the Mag. You need a light oil for pnuematics like autolube, KC, or the like. Few drops a day is all you need. Dont oil the bolt or spring at all.

Thanks for the help. It was the only oil at the shop and the woman behind the counter could've sold me pretty much anything. I'll work on getting some Autolube from AirgunD. My only regret is the season is almost at it's end. Later.

Oil from the spring transfers to the bolt and then to the breach. It wets the breach area which is what you don't want in a paintball gun.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

You can just go to Home Depot and pick up a big bottle of Pneumatic Tool Oil.

Its like, $4 for a 16 oz bottle. I've been using it for years, works great.

Ok, so use AutoLube...Check. (Picked up that and a fan boy hat)

Don't oil bolt or bolt spring...Check.

I've heard with a gun restart that one should try a few drops of oil in the ASA and see she goes. Then replace internals if leask occur. Would this be suggested? I've got a repair kit from AGD which I was planning on using prior however if it's not necessary all the better.

Anything else I should know? All the info has been great, my mind is much more at ease.

Just put oil in it and see what happens. I had a mag that sat for 11 or 12 years. I put auto lube in it and it shot fine played a couple of games with it to not one problem. You should be fine.
