    Lvl 7 question

    Hi,

I have and old fixed up mag with a spring in the power tube instead of a spacer. I was thinking about putting a Lvl 7 on it(not sure that I want to mess with tuning a lvl 10, I don't break that many balls.) My question is what is the advantage to me of upgrading to a 7 over my current original set up? My mag was made before the star system. Thanks!

No real advantage. They work just as well as the level 7 spacer.

And the level 10 isn't that tough to set up. Put one oring in, when it starts to leak, change the carrier. Done. Shouldn't have to do it more than once.

      Level 10 setup is easy.

You have a level 7 now. Level 7 refers to the valve setup not the bolt. The original level 7's had powertube springs. They worked, but you couldn't adjust the crispness of the trigger pull quite as well. The spacers were added later to give users a sensitivity adjustment.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
