The set screw on my drop is stuck!

So as the title states I have this silver shocktech drop that mounts on dovetail tank regs and the set screw that tightens the drop to the tank is stuck completely. I got it off the mag only by heating it under a sink but now that wont work to move it. Any ideas on how to fix this and has anyone else run into this? Would some WD40 or lube work on this or could it just be gunk in the threading that cant be removed? Thanks in advance, I appreciate any help on this as I am trying to sell this with my tank and don't want to include a malfunctioning drop.

    Try the WD-40.

Put it under hot water (hotter the better) like before. Apply some penetrating oil. Then use a good hex wrench and back it out. It may take some force. It may require that you both tighten and loosen (work it back and forth) the screw to get it to move.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. This should work out any problems in the future correct? I don't want to sell a faulty drop.
