    I love my armson barrels...

I bought an armson for my minimag in 1995 and I have bought 5 barrels since trying to find one better... Oh well, maybe the sixth one will be. Not sure if it is just the paint I find around here or what, but my armson barrels just seem to shoot better. I have an old style 13 inch and a newer 16 inch stealth and they both shoot better than my 2 smart parts, my CP and my stock agd barrels.

I used to use an Armson Pro Series barrel back in the day, loud as hell but deadly accurate. My buddy had a Stealth but wasnt impressed, quieter than mine but was too picky with paint, it is hard to find good paint/barrel match with the Stealth. As for the Pro, I used Proball and old style Nelson, no problems. As for there new barrel, the SSR, I havent heard anything on this one but if I were to use an Armson barrel I would try to get the Pro Series, its easier to find a bore/paint match as its bore is larger than the stealth's. Good Luck !!!!

        OOOHHH, by the way, I used a 10" for mid/back play and a 6" for tape/front play.

The new armson SSR is the best barrel that melvin and judy have made to date. Recognising the tend toward smaller paint they have sized the back setion for small high quality tournament paint. The back section is designed to give the best efficiency, being longer than most control bores on two piece barrels. Remember greater efficiency means lower pressure. There are then a choice of front sections to give total barrel length of 11", 13" or 16".

I had one for my RT and since moving on to an angel have picked one up for that. With fresh quality paint it is an excellent choice.

I've been using an Armson for over 3 years now, Pro and/or stealth, on an RT, Auto Classic, MiniMag w/ReTro valve. I've also used DYE, JJ, and 32Deg on the same markers. Armson has always been an improvement over the others using the same paint, same outside temp ect, ect.
Armson doesn't have all the marketing and "flash" as the others, that's probably why you don't see many of them.

              Armson

              Hello,

I had a Armson for my VM-68 and I loved it. I really want an Armson SSR for my Minimags since they work so well. I have been having trouble finding them in the Mag 1/4 turn. I went to the Armson and Pro-team websites and couldn't find then there. Oh well.......might have to get a boomstick or freak set-up.

I haven't had very good luck with any of the Armsons i've tried. They all broke alot of paint and the only way to get them nice and clean was to take them off and run water through them. For what you pay for them you could get a much nicer barrel in my opinion. The upside to some of the older Armsons were that they shot cheaper paintballs very well. I have seen alot of people who love their Armsons and they seem to work very well for them though. Best thing to do would be to try one out for yourself with a few different kinds of paint and see how you like it.

Blazingace, if you call Pro-Team directly, you can order whatever you want...

Though you might have to be a dealer to order direct, I dono...
