Anyone knows where I can buy longer lengths than the usual 12" packaged stuff in black? 15" would be what I would want.

Check your local shop. I went there and they had a huge tube, i could get any size i wanted. -
I picked up a 10' piece from Tunaman at a very good price.
Very flexible and top quality.
