Help with hardline

Hey guys, I've played paintball about 5 years, but I'm just getting into mags now. I bought a ULE mag, but I want to give it some of the RT features. If you go here and go about 1/3 down the page to the post by XyxyII he's got a hardline setup on his RT. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a place to buy the hardline with the 90 degree fittings.

Also, is it possible to have a ULE warp body with a RT rail?

I would contact Palmers Pursuit shop. They have the fittings and line so you can make your own, and it should cost somewhere around $15 - $25. It will just depend on how much line, etc..

I had also wanted to expore making hardlines for my other guns. If you have a tube bender that you can use, then there is a cool easy way to make a custom hardline. I did this with my VM-Magnum and it turned out pretty good. Get some 1/4" stainless steel tubing, and make sure you have about a .035" wall. (I was told to look for SS breaklines or hydrolic lines , but I never found any.) In fact do a search on ebay and there are some guys selling it by the foot at a good price. Next is then get 90 degree or straight macro-line fittings and use the SS line in place of the macro-line. This application is a lot easier to dissasemble and still looks as good. Good luck!!

Thats pretty cool. But how do you disassemble the SS line without the tube being able to bend like Macro?

Thanks Rouge! It will all depend on the application. On the VM, I have to remove the black fitting on the back-bottle adapter that is held in by a thumb screw. This will allow me to remove the straight fitting and pull off the straight piece of line. The other straight piece that runs from the drop to the vert ASA requires you to remove the drop and then pull off the line. Lastly, the curved piece that runs from the vert ASA to the X-Chamber can only be removed once you remove the second piece in the description, and then remove the two screws that hold the vert ASA adapter and from there you just pull apart.

If I were to put this type of setup on a mag, there would be a piece of hardline from the vert ASA to the valve and I would have to remove the valve to take off the line. Then if you also wanted hardline from a bottomline, then you can see that the bottom line ASA or Drop would have to be put on last to accomodate the line.

Pretty easy setups and easy to assembly. I just didn't have any of the appropriate tools to bend the tubing so its a little rough.
