What does adjusting the plunger do?

Ok, I have an Xvalved EMag. Just curious what happens if I adjust the plunger (the part of the sear assembly that goes down into the solenoid). Theres also that nut on top of it that can screw up or down

    What does adjusting these do?

This adjustment determines how far down in the solenoid the plunger sits before activation. The closer to the bottom it is, the more force it can exert on the sear using the same current draw from the battery. Moving it farther down reduces the amount of travel that you have. Ideally, the plunger should touch bottom when the sear has moved just far enough to safely clear the bolt. The nut allows you to lock your solenoid plunger settings.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
