    help with Karta E-mag eye install

    I am waiting on my drop in predator board for my Karta E-mag. I have an 05 ULE rail on its way throught the mail. I am haveing some problems finding someone to do milling for an eye install. I really want laser eyes for my mag. I have emailed GA devil and Coolhand and have not had a reply.

    I have a drill press and think that should do it. I think I should be able to use a small flat file for the slot for the eye covers on the rail. If any one has any advise I would love to hear it. Pics would be very helpful. I want to know what size hole to drill for the eyes and for the screws on the covers. What size tap is used? How do you determine the exact location to drill for the eyes? I know they should be as low in the breach as possable and centered, correct? I in no way do I want to mess up this body and rail!

    If someone out there is qualified to do this and wants to help me out with a reasonable price and turn around time I am will to pay. If not, any pics and sound advise would be appriciated. Thanks

      With that body and rail, you should have somone do it. I couldnt bring my self to do it on my $140 exile body, I couldnt imagine doing it on a karta. If you do decide to do it your self first. Find a cheap ULE body, or even an classic body and practice on it first.

          Then somone with some skills and experiance should come to this poor Karta body and rail .

          What eye covers would be the best, eclipse?

              Be patient and send it off. Just think about what you would do if you screwed it up. There are plenty of shops out there that can do it. If Logic and Ga Devil dont answer you find someone else. Dont risk screwing up your Karta for something as trivial as eyes.

                  Trust me, I would like to send it off and have it professionaly done. I am not having much luck finding someone to do it. Any other suggestions beside GA Devil and Coolhand? If either of them read this and will do it, let me know. Otherwise I need some help.

                          Kartas are the nicest body ive seen for the mag. I would hate to see it marred by a do it yourself job gone wrong.
