New Products from Airgun Designs

Hi, everyone.

I'm the proud owner of an e-Mag, early edition, upgraded to Level 10.
I was taking a look at Airgun's web site and noticed that it looks the same as it did three years ago. I also noticed that Airgun stoped distributing it's products on the bigger paintball resellers, such as Action Village, I&I Sports, Skanline, 888Paintball and so on. Even so, there are some independent small companies producing some very interesting stuff for the Automag line. I refer to products like the Karta bodies, the Pneumag and the Hair Trigger.
Unfortunatelly, as I live in Brazil, I'm not able to get most of these upgrades easelly.

I also have a Shocker 03 SFT equiped with an eye and a Tag Sportz board. If I could, believe me, I would sell it and spend the money on upgrades to my Mag. The problem is that I believe it won't be able to compete with the latest electronic guns. I play airball and I really need something fast in order to keep competitive.

So, does anyone know if Tom Kaye is working on something? I want my Mag to be THE TOP MARKER on the field again, as it were with my old Minimag, my old Automag RT and my e-Mag by the time I bought it. I mean that I want to shoot as fast as my Shocker or as fast as an Ego, Timmy, DM or an e-Blade Cocker.

Hola. You are out of luck in this department. Tom is no longer at AGD. AGD is a cult marker at this point. They don't come out with anything new and nothing that will make your pride and joy shoot anythink like the Ego. Sorry.

You could check with Logic Paintball or Rouge Factor and they may be able to give you far better guidance than I.

I've found Logic Paintball's web site but couldn't find anything about Rouge Factor... do you know where can I find it? I also found the Devil's Mag web site and already sent an e-mail to them asking for a quotation...

You may want to read the devil mag thread on this forum prior to sending any money. I am not saying anything other than it will take a long time for you to get anything out of Devil Mag. He is backed up a little bit.

Rouge is a good guy and he'll be able to point you in the right direction.

I have never done business with Logic, but I understand he is good at what he does. I kind of like the look of his new marker....I would get it annoed a different color-something fun.

If your looking for a great upgrade I would take a good look at the logic frame. Coolhand seems like he has his stuff in order and is doing a small batch all at once, I Believe there are about 4 frames left out of the 15. His frame is an electo pneumatic and I don't think the waiting should take to long as he is just pretty much waiting on the boards at this point.

the mag smith is awesome! ordered from him, got my marker in 2 weeks, had a problem with it.. talked to THE PERSON THAT BUILT IT and it was fixed in 5 minutes. it was an error on my part best customer service ever to go with the best gun ever.

Dang doom sayers. Tom isn't gone (retains ownership) . He just gave up being the president of AGD so that he could work on other interests. As far as anything new .. Its hard to say a couple low level rumors have started circulating about something but we have no confirmation.

I heard that it's pretty hard to connect all needed wiring... Does anyone have a wiring schema for it? Exarin's site is very poor on install info.

Poor info on installs, because that's where they like to have certain dealers (DevilsDen, Logic, Tag, etc) do the installs. That way they cut way down on their tech support needs by only dealing with what they consider proficient techs.

If you want to do it yourself, hunt and google around, you will find help. If you're not the real tinkering type, you have two choices - send money to one of those folks who build custom mag elctro's and wait who knows how long, or buy a complete version from someone who is selling (I might be one of these soon depending on how my devilmag works when i actually get it in my hands - Im counting the hours now).

There are also people selling their place in line for each of those custom shops - they got tired of waiting.

I actually heard somewhere that technically, Tom still owns AGD, just someone else owns all the stock. I also heard that there is something in the works from AGD that will be coming out soon.

This should help with the wiring of the trigger, other than that it should be a piece of cake.
I installed one in a Hyperframe and it was pretty easy.
